NLF L HEMIFACE step 1 Gonzalito

NLF male tensors left hemiface

Step 1 -Basics
  • The contours of the nasolabial area areĀ marked

  • the parallel to the y-axis, called the vertical,

(line from the tip of the nose to the middle of the chinĀ is drawn outside the naso-genius area on the left cheek, in green

  • The parallel to the abscissa or x-axis (line passing through the 2 labial commissures), known as the horizontal, is drawn outside the naso-genius area on the left cheek, in red

NLF MALE VECTORS LEFT HEMIFACE

Step 2- Vectors
  • 1 vector per each quadrant or square
  • inject always 0.05 ml per vector per quadrant
  • injection is ,, normal,, or perpendicular to the center of each square
  • vector point of injection is marked here by a red circle

NLF MALE VECTORS LEFT HEMIFACE

Step 3-Vertical & Horizontal Tensors
  • The lowest quadrants have 2 tensors per quadrant with bestens vertical tensors.
  • the highest located quadrant, has 1 or 2 tensors, generally horizontal

  • Inject 0.05 ml/tensor

NLF VECTORS & TENSORS for LEFT MALE HEMIFACE

Step 4 -The 45 tensors of the middle quadrant are important to avoid an eye deformation keeping a neck lifting
  • The 45 tensors are same for males and females
  • If the NLF has 3 squares, the 45 tensors apply to the middle square.
  • If the NLF has 4 squares or quadrants, the 45 tensors apply to the 3 rd square, counting them from down to up.
  • There are 2 tensors for this square, 1 on the external and another 1 on the internal border of the NLF area .
  • To trace the 45 tensors, go to the angles work area of the hemiface and put a chosen distance dx on the x axis and the same distance as dx, here called dy ( dy=dx) on the y axis . Then trace the bisectrix( the grey arrow on the picture).
  • transfer the 2 parallels to the tensor 45 or bisector on the middle quadrant of the NLF.

NLF VECTORS-TENSORS FOR RIGHT FEMALE HEMIFACE

Summary of Vectors & Tensors for a caucasian female
NLF VECTORS-TENSORS-FOR R-FEMALE-HEMIFACE
  • the 45 tensors are same for males and females

  • the tensors of the lower quadrants are for females between 30 and 90 grades but always less than 90 grades.
  • the more the angles of the lower quadrants tend towards 90 grades, the more the lifting will affect the neck. If the angles approach 30 grades, the lifting will only be facial without lifting the neck.

  • the upper quadrant tensors are always at 0 degrees
