    The isovolumetric projection is different from a voluminization.
    Adding volume ( fillers, fat) means heigher weight with dropping lips at the end.
    Endopeel is not a filler !

Upper Lip Lift & Reshaping for Females

For Females , upper lip tensors are always convergent ( except sometimes in case of sequellae of facial paralysis) 

  • Vectors are normal or perpendicular to the ,, vertical wall,, of the upper lip
  • Tensors are convergent towards the upper part of the frenulum

  • Patient in dorsal decubitus
  • Lift up the upper lip with a garze

    The garze allows not to glide on the mucosa

  • Syringe then parallel to the op bed
  • Inject 0.05 ml per vector
  • Maintain same distance vector-frenulum

    on both sides

  • Maintain same distance vector-vermillion

    on both sides

  • Patient in dorsal decubitus
  • Lift up the upper lip with a garze

    The garze allows not to glide on the mucosa

  • Inject 0.05 ml per tensor
  • Maintain same distance point of entry of the tensor-frenulum

    on both sides

  • Maintain same distance tensor-vermillion

    on both sides

  • Patient in dorsal decubitus
  • Lift down the lower lip with a garze

    The garze allows not to glide on the mucosa

  • Syringe then parallel to the op bed
  • Inject 0.05 ml per vector
  • Maintain same distance vector-frenulum

    on both sides

  • Maintain same distance vector-lower-vermillion

    on both sides

Lower Lip Vector

Lower Lip Tensor

  • Patient in dorsal decubitus
  • Lift up the upper lip with a garze

    The garze allows not to glide on the mucosa

  • Inject 0.05 ml per tensor
  • Maintain same distance point of entry of the tensor-frenulum

    on both sides

  • Maintain same distance tensor-vermillion

    on both sides

  • Divergence of Lower Lip Tensors for Females
    • For females , or to get a feminine mouth

     -upper lip tensors are convergent towards the frenulum

    - lower lip tensors are divergent

    • For males or to get a masculine mouth

    -upper lip tensors are divergent

    -lower lip tensors are convergent

Which procedures are to avoid : FILLERS

For patients with significant space between the lip and nose, an endopeel lip lift significantly helps in creating more facial harmony.
