plan-your-treatment

Plan your treatment

Before starting to treat, one must analyze what needs to be done and make a treatment plan.

  • All techniques described below havent to be applied in their totality.
  • Choose the techniques to apply in function of the semiology and the evolution after 1 st session and so on.
  • Also always begin to treat the paralyzed hemiface . In many cases the treatment of the ,, healthy,, hemiface is not needed.
  • In some cases, there are signs of nerve regeneration which may enhance the results of endopeel treatments .

Cosmetic Semiology of Paralysed Hemiface

Cosmetic Semiology of Paralyzed Hemiface

  • it is essential to recognize the paralyzed hemiface compared to the healthy hemiface.
  • it is necessary to differentiate between static and dynamic signs in mimicry.

2 Hemifaces should be treated

  • The paralyzed hemiface

always start treating the paralyzed hemiface, even if the ,,healthy,, side is more unsightly.

  • The ,, healthy,, hemiface

    • it is not uncommon for the non-paralyzed so-called ,, healthy, hemiface to appear with many more unsightly signs than the paralyzed hemiface.
    • in most cases, it has been shown that by starting to treat the paralyzed side, there is an improvement on the ,, healthy,, side.
    • This is why we insist on the fact that the paralyzed side has to be treated first.

What do we have at our disposal to treat the paralyzed hemiface?

Remember first of all the local treatment of the middle third of the face in all its details

Technic

Just treat this middle square

only the middle square of the middle third local technique has to be treated

  • vector is like always normal to the center of this square with 0.05 to 0.01 ml
  • tensor has to have an angle of 60 grades with the horizontal, to redice the lower eyelid and to better close the eye .
vector normal to the center of the square

The vector has to be always normal to the center of this middle square

  • Quantity : 0.05 to 0.01 ml
  • Dont inject other squares
tensors of 60 grades with the horizontal

The 2 tensors do an angle of 60 grades with the horizontal

  • Quantity : 0.05 to 0.01 ml
  • 2 tensors
  • They need to be applied at the center of each external and internal border of the middle square
tensors of 60 grades with the horizontal

didactic diagram showing how to get angles at 60 grades with the horizontal

  • Marking the naso labial fold of the paralyzed hemiface
  • just select the middle square
  • Quantity : 0.05 to 0.01 ml
  • 2 tensors
  • They need to be applied at the center of each external and internal border of the middle square

Treatment of Eyebrow Drooping

drooping eyebrow

Remember first of all the fox eyes technic in all its details

main vector for brow lift

Main Vector for Brow Lift

  • inject 0.1 ml for the main vector or the square ( eyebrow segment) which has to be higher than other eyebrow segments.
  • inject 0.05 ml in other squares
  • injections have to be done always at the center of each square, normal to the chosen muscles.( the syringe makes an angle of 90 grades with the muscular plan)
main tensor for brow lift

Main Tensor for Brow Lift

  • inject 0.1 ml per tensor
  • tensors are looking towards the point of maximum projection or lifting.
  • injections have to be done always positioning the syringe on the arrow looking the maximum point of projection and pushing up.
  • the syringe has to be in full contact with the skin.

Treatment of Mouth Asymmetry

mouths corner drooping vectors of M.TIZIANI

Dynamic Treatment of M.TIZIANI for mouths corner drooping

The vectors of M.TIZIANI

  • each cross corresponds to a vector where 0.05 to 0.15 ml must be injected depending of the case
STATIC INTRA ORAL VECTORS AND TENSORS

Static Intra Oral Treatment of A.TENENBAUM for mouths corner drooping

The INTRA ORAL vectors and tensors of A.TENENBAUM

  • vectors are normal to the black circles , injecting 0.05 ml to 0.15 ml per vector according to the cases.
  • tensors are marked thanks to the red arrows.Inject per tensor too same quantity as per vectors.

STATIC EXTRA ORAL TENSORS

Static Extra Oral Tensors for mouths corner drooping

The EXTRA ORAL tensors

  • tensors are marked thanks to the red arrows.
  • tensors have to make an angle of 90 grades with the upper edge of the drooping upper lip.
